Subscriptions
The Subscriptions section is where you manage everything related to your membership — your plan, credits, add-ons, and wallet. Think of it as your “account” for paying for and using FundedYouth services.
Getting Access
Section titled “Getting Access”Before you can see the Subscriptions menu, you need to sign the Subscription & Credit Plan Agreement.
This agreement explains:
- How the credit system works
- What happens when you cancel or don’t show up to a session
- That credits are not money — they can’t be traded, sold, or refunded for cash
- The rules for using your membership

Age Requirements
Section titled “Age Requirements”| Age | What You Need |
|---|---|
| 18 or older | Sign the agreement yourself. You are responsible for your own payments. |
| 13 to 17 | Your parent or guardian must also read and agree. They are responsible for all payments. You’ll need to provide their name and email when signing. |
| Under 13 | Same as above, plus your parent or guardian must be with you at all times at FundedYouth locations. |
How It All Connects
Section titled “How It All Connects”Before diving into each page, here’s how the Subscriptions section connects to the rest of the portal:
| Section | What It Does | Credits Needed? |
|---|---|---|
| Subscriptions > Plans | Choose and manage your membership | No — this is where you start |
| Subscriptions > Credit Packs | Buy extra credits for your wallet | You pay with real money (Stripe) |
| Subscriptions > Add-ons | Subscribe to monthly perks | You pay with real money (Stripe) |
| Subscriptions > Wallet | See your credit balance and history | This is where your credits live |
| Sessions > Browse Events | Find and register for classes | Yes — credits are deducted from your wallet |
| Student > My Courses | Enroll in courses (tracking only) | No — enrolling is always free |
This is where you pick your membership plan. A membership is a monthly subscription — you pay a set amount each month and get access to FundedYouth services.

Cancelled — Your membership has been permanently ended. Your wallet is frozen and bundled add-ons are cancelled.
Cancelling Your Membership
Section titled “Cancelling Your Membership”You can cancel your membership at any time by clicking the Cancel button. Before cancelling, the portal will warn you:
What happens when you cancel:
- Your membership stays active until the end of the current billing period
- After that, your wallet is frozen — you can’t spend credits
- Any add-ons and credit packs that came bundled with your plan are also cancelled
- You have a grace period (usually 90 days) to reactivate before your credits are permanently removed

How Add-ons Work
Section titled “How Add-ons Work”Each add-on has a redemption type that determines how the perk works:
Always Active — The perk is always “on” as long as you’re subscribed. No action needed — you just have it.
Once Per Month — The perk can be used one time per billing period. An admin at FundedYouth marks it as used when you redeem it in person.
My Add-ons
Section titled “My Add-ons”If you have active add-ons, they appear in a table at the top of the page:
| ADD-ON | PRICE | TYPE | PERK | SINCE | STATUS | |

- Redeemed by — which admin marked it

Section titled “Wallet”Your wallet is where all your credits live. Think of it like a bank account — credits go in when you buy them, and credits come out when you register for sessions.

If your wallet is frozen, a blue banner appears below the balance:

Refund — Credits returned because you cancelled a session registration
Important Things About Your Wallet
Section titled “Important Things About Your Wallet”- Your balance can go below zero. If you get a no-show penalty and don’t have enough credits, your balance will drop into the negatives. You’ll need to buy more credits to bring it back up.
- Frozen wallets can’t spend. If your membership is frozen, lapsed, or cancelled, you can’t register for sessions — even if you have credits.
- Credits are not money. You can’t trade them for cash, give them to someone else, or use them outside of FundedYouth.
- Credits can expire. If your membership is cancelled and the grace period passes (usually 90 days), any remaining credits may be permanently removed.
Bundled Benefits
Section titled “Bundled Benefits”Some membership plans come with bundled add-ons and credit packs included at no extra cost. When you subscribe to one of these plans:
- Bundled add-ons are automatically activated — you don’t need to subscribe to them separately
- Bundled credit packs are automatically added to your wallet
- If you cancel your membership, all bundled items are cancelled too
You can see what’s included in each plan on the Plans page before you subscribe.
